Borja Mayoral Event Recap

Thank you to everyone who attended TSI’s special event with Real Madrid player Borja Mayoral on June 27th!

We were delighted to host such a prestigious player who has won the Champions League, the biggest club soccer tournament, this year.

Players were split into four groups and rotated through a number of games so everyone got equal time with Borja and his Spanish coaches. Starting with the usual Spanish core game of Rondo, players then moved onto a small sided game to goals before finishing with 9v9 and 11v11 as each player tried to impress Borja!

Then once the soccer was finished, Borja made a short presentation and spoke of his path through Real Madrid’s renowned soccer academy to the first team and indeed his participation in winning the Champions League with Real Madrid this year.

This was followed by a question and answer session with Borja and the players before each player lined up for an autograph and pictures with the man himself!

The Soccer Institute would like to say a massive thank you to Borja, his coaches and everyone involved!!They all gave so much time to the players and displayed such important traits such as respect, hard work and humility that was not lost on anyone in attendance.

Everyone at The Soccer Institute looks forward to welcoming Borja back in the future and to following his blossoming career.
